Samurai Hout Bay Dojo are extremely proud to announce that ten of it’s members will be competing in our Kimura Shukokai World Tournament later on this year. This is the first time that juniors from the Samurai Karate Hout Bay dojo have been selected to represent South Africa. Together with a few adults, they will be competing internationally. There will be 23 countries participating in this world tournament and it will also be the start of a once in a lifetime experience for our new contestants.
The event is being hosted in Stockholm, Sweden from 16 July – 21 July. The preparation and training towards this event has been intense and we hope to make all Hout Bay community members proud. The SA Squad are also the current KSI World Champions and will do everything in its power to retain the title.
Cape Town will also host our following Kimura Shukokai World event and this will take place in 2020.
Let’s hope that we have all South Africans supporting us as they do in all other sporting events.
